    ANTIQUE CORGI ART PRINT
    This is beautiful vintage print which was carefully removed from a 1940 book featuring art by Lucy Dawson.
    The print measures approximately 9" by 11" and is in very good condition.
    I will leave the binding edge untrimmed to allow more room for matting/framing.
    Lucy “Mac” Dawson was a preeminent British illustrator famous for her pen and ink, oil, and pastel paintings and etchings of sporting dogs and other breeds. During the height of her career her art was seen on playing cards, cigarette cards, postcard series and in books. The Royal Family was among her most notable clients; she painted the Queen Mother’s Corgi, “Dookie.”
